R&B and soul legends Earth, Wind & Fire celebrated 25 years together with this electrifying 1994 concert from Tokyo. The band performs 17 songs, including the classics "Boogie Wonderland," "Keep Your Head to the Sky," "After the Love Has Gone," "That's the Way of the World" and "Can't Stop Love," plus tracks from their 1993 comeback album, "Millennium," such as "Kalimba Interlude" and "Wouldn't Change a Thing About You."
There are two different releases of this 1994 Tokyo concert by Earth Wind & Fire for purchase here at Amazon.com. Both releases are one hour long. The concert is performed beautifully and has Maurice White on stage with the group. (There is also the 1990 "Live In Japan" concert).

The video in this version is "widescreen", but really it's distorted, compressing the image down as it widens it out. The result: Maurice White looks short and fat; not likely.

The concert itself, while only an hour long is, I think, the best sonically available on DVD, and there is a contagious spirit in the performance. It's only an hour long, and sure, some songs are missed, but it's deeply satisfying...if you get the one with the better (non-widescreen) video.
